Father, in an age where deception, trickery, scheming, and outright lying are prevalent in the government, media, marketplace, workplace, family, and sadly even in some churches help us to cease from lying to one another and instead speak the truth in love. Give us discernment that we may recognize lying tongues that come to us in so many ways in this information age. Help us to always speak the truth even if it may hurt. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.
