A Prayer To The Alpha and The Omega

Jesus, You are the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. Your existence spans eternity for You always have been and always will be. Because of Your generous act of redemption, our bodies will no longer be clothed in flesh but will take on immortality that exists for all eternity future. Our days will be unending as our sorrows cease to exist and our joy will know no bounds. Because we deal with the visible, we sometimes forget that You are our Intercessor, faithfully presenting our needs to the Father. Help us to trust You even when we don’t understand Your plan, knowing in our hearts, that You do all things well and for our eternal good. Help us to look beyond our immediate need to see the spiritual fruit You are developing in our lives as we remain faithful, trusting You to work out that which concerns us. Amen.
